WELCOME TO MY BLOG

I am trying to start a youth basketball movement in Brisbane, or try to enhance the programs that are already established and build on them. I encourage feedback and ideas on how to get this project going . Also, to cease confusion, I would like to note that I am taking on this project as a part of a community development project for a class I am studying. However, I am willing to carry the project out further after this class is over. Anyway, I really need your help in getting this started, so blog away!

Survey Monkey

Well, I thought my busy rock-star life would prevent me from posting this week, but I guess noooot! :)

At any rate, I am putting the finishing touches on my project plan, and I was just thinking about creative ways to implement the "consult" stage of the IAP2 model. I just thought for anyone who is considering themselves amateur at technology, you might not know about survey monkey. www.surveymonkey.com is a free online tool in which you can design your own survey and see the results. So for example, to help introduce this stage I will use this tool by posting the link on my blog website, twitter, facebook, and myspace to help elicit feedback from the community. It's free, but if you want to pay extra it allows you to print charts and graphs. It's been helpful for me in the past so I thought I would pass it on to anyone who hasn't heard of it.

Well, back to my assessment... I hope you guys are finding it as exciting empowering as I am!

  1. Dear Rachel

What a coincidence! On Thu, I had a class and the lecturer mentioned this tool :) since we'll conduct survey in that course. I haven't been able to see it yet but will do soon! Thanks for sharing!!

  2. Hello...The survey tool is really helpful. Thanks for this. The funny thing here is why it is called " monkey" ? Is there anything linking with monkey in the survey tool.

I am now thinking of how to use it into my plan, i.e. monitoring and evaluation phase to keep track of my project progress.

    Happy working :)))))

    Cheers,
