WELCOME TO MY BLOG

I am trying to start a youth basketball movement in Brisbane, or try to enhance the programs that are already established and build on them. I encourage feedback and ideas on how to get this project going . Also, to cease confusion, I would like to note that I am taking on this project as a part of a community development project for a class I am studying. However, I am willing to carry the project out further after this class is over. Anyway, I really need your help in getting this started, so blog away!

With 2 minutes left in the 4th period... can she STILL DO IT??

... make progress that is...

Well guys- like most of you, my project has not taken off. After several email attempts, and fliers distributed, I am out of ideas on how to get this thing started. I am not giving up just here though. Basketball was my passion for many years, and still is, I'm just busier these days ;) ... But I think the next thing that is left to do is just find a team to play on and work through engaging people that way. This is what I will be doing over the next couple of months during break. I purposely chose a topic that I would stick with so I would be disciplined throughout the semester to get it running and truly be dedicated to it, and I will keep my word that I still want to create a "Basketball Movement" here in Brissy.

Okay, so you're wondering how could I possibly be trying to make progress with my project because I have NOTHING but one post here on my blog? Well thank you guys for being my friends (the ones who are) and I have engaged you through either my facebook account, the fliers I distributed, or through class. Speaking of class...

The next post will consist of the posts I have left on the discussion board for the last 13 weeks (that sounds like SO long ago!!). It made more sense to do this because there were more people following the discussion board than my blog, and so I thought I would just use that as a tool and replicate it here.

SOOOoooo.... please see the next post for a replay of what the last 13 weeks have looked like.
